In a few weeks I FINALLY get to marry my best friend. A baby’s birth and Covid-19 may have delayed this party, but on April 17, in front of God and all of you, the Loftus/Blanchard family will become one. After 2.5 years of being engaged, we are finally getting married and are throwing kick ass parties to celebrate! Shelly and I care deeply about all of you and our number one priority is your safety and comfort. Guests are coming from many parts of the country and have different expectations/opinions as to reasonable virus precautions. Mandated or suggested precautions regarding the virus are geographically subjective, and compared to other states, Florida is considered more Covid "relaxed" than most. We want to set a realistic picture as to what you can expect in Florida's 30A/Bay County/Santa Rosa Beach communities and for our wedding events so you can make the best decision regarding your family attending. Within the above noted communities where our beach home and venues are located, masks are rarely required and social distancing suggestions are often not adhered to. Weather permitting, both Friday and Saturday wedding events will be outdoors, however social distancing will be difficult to maintain at all times within our venue spaces. Masks are optional; guests will not be required to wear one. Even with precautions we are taking, our events would most likely not be considered CDC approved. We 100% respect your decisions. If the setting is not aligned with your beliefs or within your comfort zone, please know that there will be NO HARD FEELINGS if you decide not to attend. We intend for this to be the best day of our lives and we would love to celebrate with you, but we do not want you to be uncomfortable at our wedding events. So whether you celebrate with us or from afar, thank you for your continued love and support as we start this new chapter in the Loftus family.
